Women in Fencing
The CBA competitive Epee program takes women’s fencing seriously.
We view women’s fencing as a different game from men’s fencing, just as women’s soccer and women’s basketball are different from men’s soccer and basketball.
In the real world of regional, national and international fencing, fencing tournaments are gender-specific. Therefore, the best approach is to train girls and women to fence each other, using some men as training partners when appropriate.
We are proud of our women’s epee program and the rapid strides we have made in a short time.

Our epeeists are consistent medalists at Minnesota and regional events.
Our coaches’ track records demonstrate our commitment to women’s fencing and our success in women’s epee.
